Villa Zephirine is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom hidden gem majestically situated on a stunning hillside in the countryside, offering panoramic unspoilt views of mountains, valley and distant sea at Polis. The villa has no immediate neighbours and the pool and poolside cannot be overlooked, so it's an ideal spot for an all-over tan and complete relaxation.
The house is furnished in traditional style and Wi-Fi internet access is provided so you can keep in touch with the outside word. The TV connects to UK channels via a media streamer. Air conditioning is available in all bedrooms, lounge and kitchen. Mosquito screening is provided at all windows upstairs and down, and is practical for letting the cool mountain air in, without insects, and means you may not need air conditioning.
As you approach the house via an almond tree-clad village lane in early Spring, you can snatch an occasional teasing glimpse of the house standing all alone on the hillside. When you arrive to the sound of nature, you feel as though you have left the hustle and bustle of life behind. The almond blossom here in early Spring is stunningly beautiful.
All 3 bedrooms and bathrooms are upstairs. The long bedroom shared balcony is well designed, enabling you to enjoy welcome shade and a light breeze during the heat of the day, and you can view the sea at Polis in the distance. The lounge loggia style balcony is a lovely spot to enjoy meals, read a book, or just lounge around and relax. As the views are unobscured, stunning colour changes on the distant hills in front are a treat to watch at dusk and dawn.
The poolside offers seclusion and is not overlooked. There are no immediate neighbours.
Rare birds frequent this area so take your binoculars!
The local village is a short walk of 200m and the square offers a selection of simple coffee shop/tavern/bars and a bank. 200m further on the B7, Paphos to Polis road, is a Cafe serving sandwiches, burgers and pancakes, and the minimarket is a further 100m. Here you can find the bus stops for Polis and Paphos.
Looking across the valley, the village to the right is Miliou, with 2 tavernas. Pagkratios is worth finding, and is popular with walkers. You will smell delicious aromas as you approach. Akourdaleia village has a quaint herb garden where they serve their own blend of coffee which I found delicious, and home made cakes. They have an apothecary too for essential oils and herbs.
