Weddings in Cyprus
With warm Cypriot sunshine and blue skies almost guaranteed, Cyprus can offer you the wedding of a lifetime!
Cyprus is the Birthplace of Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love and beauty, and is known as the Island of love. So where better than Cyprus to enjoy your perfect day?
Wedding Ceremonies here are all conducted in English, most Cypriots speak English as their 2nd language, and to top it all off you drive on the left as in the U.K.
Civil Ceremony
As the procedure is simple, many couples from all over the world come to celebrate their marriage in Cyprus and combine this event with a holiday.
Civil Ceremonies can be arranged in the Town Halls of Paphos, Peyia, Geroskipou and Polis.
Church Ceremony
Both Church and Civil Ceremonies are available in Cyprus, and are perfectly legal. Anglican and Catholic weddings are also available in Paphos. An interview and rehearsal with the local chaplain or priest normally precede a church wedding.
A Church Blessing can be arranged following your Registry Office Wedding, or you can arrange a Religious Blessing in your hotel.
