Description

This unique air conditioned stone cottage with traditional wooden shutters and large pretty garden in a quiet lane is recommended to guests who would like to sample village life, whilst being within easy striking distance of Paphos Town. Previous guests have been delighted with it, and the lovely location.

The house is all on one level, and is a few minutes walk to the local village centre with its 2 good tavernas (Anavargos Taverna serves some of the best food in Paphos and had a write up in The Times) and whitewashed church. This house is perfect for a relaxing holiday, and there are plenty of places to sit out and enjoy the garden. You could even connect to your laptop whilst sitting at one of the terraces as there is a wireless internet connection available.  Excellent local bakers nearby selling many specialities.
The owner Sheila lives next door with her cats. Sheila is a keen yet modest gardener and has put uplighters amongst the plants, creating a wonderful effect. Sheila includes in the rates an optional walking tour of the local village, (approx 30 minutes) so that you can get your bearings, followed by a welcome drink on the terrace.
Paphos town, with its daily market and interesting shops, its unique mix of old and new and pretty harbour, is 5 minutes drive, and the beaches are from 15 minutes drive.

Accommodation

Ground floor: Twin bedroom with French doors to garden. Open plan lounge/kitchenette. Sofa converts to a put u up. Video and paperbacks are supplied. Private bathroom with bath/shower/w.c. French doors to garden.

Outside: Rear garden and private terrace equipped with garden furniture and sunloungers. At the front is the shared covered terrace with overhead fan and Gas BBQ. Private parking.

Beach/sea: 5km, Minimarket: 500m, Restaurant: 200m, Take away: 750m, Paphos/Kato Paphos: 3km. Paphos Airport: 20 minutes drive

Other information

For 2 week bookings, the owner will lightly clean the villa after 1 week when she brings the clean linen and towels. Please bring your own beach towels.

Guests will be visited by the English lady owner Sheila, who lives next door, after arrival, to ensure all is well. She will make you feel welcome but will not invade your privacy at all. This property is also suitable for sole travellers. For more info please call me (Irene).

Air Conditioning/heating: €6 per machine per day. Pay there, before use, if required. There is also a halogen heater in the lounge and a heater in the bathroom.

This property does NOT have a swimming pool.

You may occupy the villa from 3pm.
Vacate by 11am.

Car Hire advisable. I can arrange this for you. If you would like a FREE escort to the house and/or assistance with your luggage by the Car Hire Co. Cy-Breeze, from Paphos Airport, let me know when booking the car. They are fluent in English. Or I can arrange a taxi and a car can be delivered to the house later.

If you are happy with the Costing, and with your selected dates, you should thoroughly complete the Booking Request Form which now appears below and press "Send Completed Enquiry". All correctly completed Booking Enquiries will receive an automated e.mail "Thanking you for your Booking Enquiry". We usually reply regarding the status of your Request within 30 minutes (during office hours). We can also reserve the villa for you whilst we help you to sort out flights. Just ask.
