Description

This beautiful all en-suite villa offers a high standard of accommodation with each bedroom having its own beautifully tiled bath/shower room and w.c. The kitchenette upstairs is ideal for that early morning cuppa etc., to enjoy on the large balcony overlooking the vineyard. There is 24 hour Satellite TV with 30 channels including BBC, NBC, CNN, Euro News & Euro Sport, so there is something for everyone.
The villa has open uninterrupted views overlooking vineyards as far as the eye can see, to the Troodos Mountains in one direction, and the sparkling Mediterranean Sea in the other. It is tucked away in a quiet lane leading directly to Coral Bay, on the outskirts of the hilltop village of Kathikas, which produces the island’s best wine. The traditional village square with its popular restaurants, supermarkets, bars, coffee shops, Tourist Info Centre and local donkey farm is approx 5 mins walk. Kathikas provides a central, convenient location, as it is approx halfway between Paphos and Polis, and the air is clean as it is above the humidity level of the coast. The village forms part of the Laona Project, which aims to restore old properties using traditional methods.


Accommodation

Ground floor: Double bedroom with adjoining shower/w.c. Shower tray has 6” lip. The kitchen/diner is very well equipped with wooden table and chairs, and includes a coffee maker & toaster. Lounge with French doors to terrace overlooking pool.

First floor: 3 bedrooms are upstairs, all en-suite: 2 with wide twin beds and en-suite shower/w.c. (one has balcony) and the master double bedroom has a large dressing table and en-suite bath/sh/w.c. and balcony. Kitchenette upstairs for that early morning cup of tea etc, with hob, fridge and sink.

Outside: Garden with attractive palm tree. Pool with Roman steps access and terrace. Built in BBQ and shaded dining area. Shower. Pool and poolside can be illuminated at night.

Downstairs bathroom is not wheelchair friendly but may be suitable for guests with limited mobility. The downstairs bedroom may also be suitable for guests with limited mobility. We can provide a basic wooden ramp to help make the villa wheelchair accessible.
Cy-Breeze Car Hire Co. offer 30% off their rates plus a free escort to the villa from Paphos Airport to all Vineyard Villas guests.  For guests with disabilities, they are happy to offer extra assistance with luggage etc.

We have 3 villas in this lane, each with their own pool, next door to one another, Vineyard Breeze, Vineyard View and Vineyard Grove. The pools have been placed with privacy in mind, at different sides of the villas.

Kathikas. More info: Kathikas Village is popular with holidaymakers and locals as it is traditional, yet has everything you need including some excellent tavernas to suit all tastes.

There are also 2 Cafes which have Satellite TV (Sky Sports and Sky Nova) and show international channels eg. football, rugby, tennis, golf, snooker etc. The "Corner Cafe" in the corner opposite the church is offering Internet and Wireless facilities. Hairdresser and beautician. A second supermarket called "Maria and Chrystina" has opened in the road leading to the Vineyard  Villas and we understand their prices are lower than the other supermarket. Bank, ATM tba. Booking information

You may occupy the villa from 4pm.
Vacate by 11am.

Car Hire included. Group B. 1000cc Yaris 4 doors, or similar. Pay insurance €11 daily, plus fuel, in cash on arrival. Car can be upgraded.

Rates are subject to change. This will not affect any bookings taken. Lower rates for 2 persons available at Vineyard View.

Refundable Damages Deposit £200

Rental includes: Welcome hamper including chilled wine, eggs, bacon, cornflakes, bread, marg., water, milk, coffee and tea. Linen and towels. Change of linen and towels every 7 days, along with a light clean of villa.

Changeover day: Flexible.

We usually reply regarding the status of your Request within 30 minutes (during office hours). We can also reserve the villa for you whilst we help you to sort out flights. Just ask.

Kathikas is a lovely Cypriot village and it makes a change to get away and spend time with locals rather than "Brits".

There are a couple of recommendations for you to add to your list.

Imogens Inn is a lovely Taverna in Kathikas run by an English lady and her Cypriot husband. The food is great and hospitality superb.

Also the Old Farm House or yard. Again run by an English Lady and Cypriot husband who is the chef. Different selection of food and cooked to perfection.

Both are within a 5 to 10 minute walk of the villas.
