Testimonials for Villa Hermes
Dear Irene
Sorry for not contacting you before this - I had every intention of doing so on our return but you know what it's like, you're straight back into work and time just goes!
We had a lovely time at the Villa Hermes. As you know, we wanted a very quiet holiday away from it all and that's exactly what we had (without it being too remote). The villa, both in its location and its facilities, we thought was excellent and we couldn't fault it. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone who wanted a bit of peace and quiet.
We didn't make contact with the rep and I'm not sure whether we were meant to but as we usually travel independently anyway, it didn't particularly worry us. The advice about getting maps from the Cyprus tourist office before we left this country was really useful. The weather wasn't particularly good (warm but lots of thunderstorms) so we did quite a bit of driving.
Thanks for all your help. Should we return to Cyprus for a holiday in the future we wouldn't hesitate to use you again.
Kind regards
Sian G Overton

Dear Irene
What can I say about our holiday, it was amazing. The Villa was really lovely, the pool was just right for our family and as the advert said the sunsets were truly amazing and just the thing to sit and wonder at in the evenings - I didn’t want to come home. The villa was quiet, private and away from the noise of modern living. There was plenty to see and do within easy driving distance but it was lovely to just chill at the pool side and unwind from a year working hard. We did not realise that the lovely lady that came and cleaned the pool most mornings was in fact the villa owner, but she was really nice and we had no problems at all with the villa, and the garden was very well cared for and in no way blocked the view of the sea from the pool and patio area.
The video did not do the villa justice and we would have no hesitation in recommending this villa to anyone, but would prefer not to as I want to go back again next year! Also, we had 2 lovely meals at the restaurant at the bottom of the road by the turning, and the food and service and price were all very good and again well worth recommending we thought, Santa Barbara, it is under new management.
Again thank you for the wonderful villa, and also for the wine you went via the rep - much appreciated, and very enjoyable by the pool!!!
Kind regards

Wow! Just back after staying at Villa Hermes. It was superb, a lovely relaxing time was had by all. Lisa’s Place Taverna, (as recommended by you) was so good, they could not do enough for us. They even arranged a lovely birthday cake for my daughter.
Back to the villa, I would recommend it to anyone, I could not fault it. Sundance Villas arrangements went like clockwork, so pleased. A colleague has asked for link to your site. Very happy to recommend this most excellent villa and company. Thanks Irene once again. Already looking for next year.

Hi Irene,
Just to let you know that we had a really nice time at Villa Hermes. The kids really loved the swimming pool … we would definitely recommend it to anyone wishing for a quiet relaxing holiday. The uninterrupted sea views were breath taking. It's the best villa that we've stayed in with regards to views and we've stayed in quite a few!

Dear Irene
I wanted to write to you to say how much we enjoyed our holiday at Villa Hermes. It is a beautiful place to stay, the views and wonderful and the sunsets are spectacular. I don't ever think I have been able to be in a swimming pool and watch the sunset over the sea before.
Afrou was very friendly, and never bothered us, not even when she was cleaning the villa or the pool. We were sorry that we never got a chance to thank her ourselves, please pass on our gratitude to her.
My parents have never been on a villa holiday, and they loved it.
The whole holiday experience was great all the travel arrangements went like clockwork, and the Excel staff were so helpful, particularly to my Mother, with all the additional assistance she required.
I will absolutely recommend Sundance to anyone looking for a villa holiday, and we also feel that the area Argaka was the best place to stay, although Polis and Latchi were lovely too.
We had some lovely meals Demetris, Lisa's Place ( lovely meat meze) and our favourite place Moustakallis in Polis, the Manager was so lovely. We also would recommend the Sunset cruise from Paphos.
All in all it was a lovely holiday, thank you so much.

Hi Irene,
Just to let you know that we had a wonderful time at Hermes Villa last week.
A really nice location for lunch or dinner at Steni on the LHS as you go through the village. Very clean and new. Also the dam between Steni and Lysos is worth a visit. At the taverna by the Baths of Aphrodite we asked about an engraving of a cross we saw in a rock on the beach and were told that in the 1950's an American airman died there and the engraving was made as a tribute to him. A nice story. The engraving is found if you go down to the beach on the LHS path from the taverna. Scramble over a few rocks and it is on the floor and the cross stem more or less points toward the cross on the little island. The Bulgarian waitress ( who also works at the gift shop near the baths entrance ) knows all about it. Although we missed it, as it is on sun morning, there is a car boot sale just off the Paphos airport turn on the left as you head toward Paphos. What friendly people the Islanders are...
We want to book same villa next year sometime.
Regards,
Tony
