Description
Villa Maria is completely detached and situated within a large garden, in a lane on the hillside, with simply stunning uninterrupted views across hills and valleys to the shimmering sea at nearby Latchi and Polis and to the nearby Evretou Dam. Villa Maria is spacious and furnished to a high standard and with few steps to the house, it may be suitable for guests with limited mobility as there is a twin bedroom downstairs bedrooms/shower room as below. The road next to the villa leads up to Peristerona village, approx 400m., with its minimarket and coffee shop/bar and this area is the home of the beautiful Evretou Dam, popular for fishing.
The nearest main town is Polis (10 mins drive) which has a sandy beach, banks, interesting shops, and excellent tavernas and there is a well stocked supermarket at nearby Skoulli 2km. Polis is a pretty and quaint small town with a “village feel” to it, (the local stone is used in much of the architecture here) and it has a central square, with lower prices than Paphos and Coral Bay.

Ground floor: The open-plan lounge is comfortably furnished and the Satellite includes a few English speaking channels incl. BBC world. French doors to poolside and terrace overlooking sea. Double or twin check bedroom with sea views and adjoining shower/w.c. Not suitable for a wheelchair. The kitchen/diner is well equipped. Dining area has quality wooden table and upholstered chairs for 6.
First floor: Double bedroom with French doors to balcony with sea views. Twin bedroom with French doors to balcony with sea views. Bathroom with bath, shower and W.C.
Outside: The private pool has Roman steps. Pool side has illumination at night. The large gated and fenced garden has a shaded wooden kiosk and b.b.q. There is an extensive lawn too and an orchard at the rear, with peaches, plums and pears, which guests may pick.

Beach/sea: 4 km, Minimarket: 400m, Bar/Coffee shop 400m. Taverna: 3km, Paphos/Kato, Paphos: 24km, Peristerona village: 400m, Tsada Golf Course: 20km.
Other information
Air conditioning is available at €6 per wall unit per day, payable there, in advance. 4 units, bedrooms & lounge. Cot and highchair on request. If TV is important we recommend you take DVDs.
Downstairs bathroom is not wheelchair friendly. The downstairs bedroom may be suitable for guests with limited mobility.

To send a Booking Request is easy and we do not require any credit or debit card details at this stage: Press "Availability, Prices and Booking Request" button below to view Calendar. Tick nights required and press "View Costing". If you are happy with the Costing, and with your selected dates, you should thoroughly complete the Booking Request Form which now appears below and press "Send Completed Enquiry". All correctly completed Booking Enquiries will receive an automated e.mail "Thanking you for your Booking Enquiry". We usually reply regarding the status of your Request within 30 minutes (during office hours). We can also reserve the villa for you whilst we help you to sort out flights. Just ask.

Just a note, now I have found time, to thank you for all your help in making our holiday the best ever. When we booked Villa Maria, we could see on the description photos how lovely it looked, but nothing prepared us for what we found when we opened the gates for the first time. It was stunning! We had to do a quick double take to make sure it really was ours to enjoy for the week. The villa and the grounds were spotless, and the pool was heaven.
We hope many more people sample the delights of this beautiful villa, but not too many, because we certainly want to return, as we have fallen in love with it.

Just thought we would send you comments on how our holiday went in Peristerona!
Well where do we begin! This was our first encounter with Cyprus, and we have to say it was a delight! Your information and directions were spot on, the villa (Maria) was absolutely fantastic and its location could not have been better!
Shortly after arriving and un-packing, we were greeted by Stelios, who explained a few things to us especially the air-con! which we were truly grateful for a good night's sleep!
Polis and the surrounding area were absolutely fantastic! We had a few days out from the villa. We managed to get to Kato Pyrgos and see the Cyprus equivalent of the Berlin Wall and we have to say that some of the mountain roads are a bit scary but the views most certainly compensate for this!! We also managed to get to the Troodos mountains and Mount Olympus which we were a little disappointed due to the military installation there, but again the views from the top are simply breathtaking and a welcome break from the searing heat in valley below!
We also visited quite a few restaurants in and around Polis. Baths of Aphrodite – absolutely fantastic – a really warm welcome from Dinos!
We also tried Finikas restaurant in Polis one night, which was very good, however our favourite restaurant was Moustakallis! What can we say! EXCELLENT!, EXCELLENT!, EXCELLENT!!!!!!! 100% first rate – service, friendliness and food!!!! We could not believe after returning to the restaurant at least 4 days later they still remembered us - Andreas especially who made a point of coming over to our table and shaking hands with all of us! We returned to Moustakallis on our last evening (Monday 21st) as the girls said they had enjoyed it so much they wanted to spend our last night there. Again Andreas came to our table and welcomed us again, and as the night drew on he sent a free bottle of wine together with 3 ouzo’s and a brandy to our table! As we settled our bill, and said our farewells to Andreas and his staff, he produced a further bottle of wine for us to bring back to UK!!!! Now where oh where would you get service like that in the UK??????
We have had the most fantastic holiday and would certainly return again…
Well, sorry Irene that this seems to be a very long e-mail, but we so wanted to let you know how our holiday went and what we thought of the villa and Cyprus itself! One simple word - FANTASTIC!!!!! In the past we have had villas in Portugal, Spain and Florida which have been really good, but by far this has to be the best!!!

Thank you for arranging the booking of Villa Maria for us - the villa was perfect for us and the views! - it was like living in a picture postcard with the dam in one direction and the sea in the other. We had a lovely relaxing holiday. We particularly liked Polis and Latchi for eating out in the evenings - we visited Paphos and Coral Bay but definitely prefer the quieter atmosphere of the local tavernas. We loved exploring the small villages and off the beaten tourist areas.
