Updated August 2010 Testimonials for Villa Rosemarie and "sister" Villa Irida
Irene,
Back to the grind and the holiday now a distant memory........................
The villa Rosemarie was excellent and I was very impressed with the organisation provided around it - ie, booking, directions, keys, information provided, Nicole's initial visit and availability, etc.
Specifically on the points you raise:
The villa was in very good order throughout and provided pretty much everything we needed.
We personally felt that air con was essential for the lounge area as this was otherwise uncomfortable - even with the fan and doors open. Fortunately, our circumstances meant that we didn't need to use this area too much so we managed without. Had that not been the case, this would have been an issue. Appreciate why it's not provided (it looks like it was there once upon a time and removed probably due to abusive/excessive use). That said, again, my personal view is that this should be reinstated and charged for accordingly.
Welcome pack was good and the villa was in excellent condition on arrival.
A good point on recommendations - one suggestion relates specifically to this. At the moment, the info in the villa is generic for all of the local villas rather than specific to Rose Marie, so one can't share experiences with future guests. It also felt as though it was a little dated?? A guest book or similar might be a useful addition where one can leave recommendations on local tourist spots, organised tours, restaurant reviews, etc. We did leave a few restaurant cards, tourist pamphlets, etc, but not sure if these would have been left in the folder in the villa or cleaned out.
Other than that (which is meant to be constructive rather than nit picking), we thought the villa was excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend it, or indeed you, to others.
Went to Goose Fat & Garlic - which was excellent. (Price guide needs updating as I would say this nearer to £35 a head for 3 course with wine - but still very good nevertheless and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant).
Best regards and thanks again for all your help with what was a great holiday.

Dear Irene,
Right after our return from Cyprus, I just wanted to let you know how pleased we were with our stay in Rosemarie Villa. Thanks to your hamper we surprisingly found in our fridge after our arrival in Cyprus at midnight , we could have breakfast next to the swimming pool at one o'clock in the morning !!! It was a great start for our holidays. Nicole phoned us the following morning asking if everything was O.K. She was very kind, but for our "self-made programme" we didn't need her help. Nevertheless it's good to know that in case of need there would have been a person to address to.
In one word we can highly recommend a stay at Rosemarie Villa, as there is easy access to lots of sights in Paphos, Latchi, Akamas Peninsula etc.
We had a wonderful time in Cyprus with excellent memories !
Kindest regards

Dear Irene
We had a really lovely time at Villa Rosemarie and my father in law (aged 91) is telling everyone it was a "wonderful holiday" and said how lovely the villa was.
He even went into the pool as it was beautifully heated. The villa was beyond our expectations and everything was spic and span. The Welcome Pack was very welcome as we had all been up since 4.30 am and had a lovely cup of tea when we arrived. The bedrooms are very spacious and the wet room is ideal for people with mobility problems. The villa has lovely views to sit and look at in the peace and quiet
We would love to go back again next year. Do you offer any discount for 3 person occupancy in May?
Many thanks indeed for a lovely holiday.

Dear Irene,
We have recently returned from our holiday in Villa Irida where we spent a most pleasant and relaxing week. The villa was very comfortable and well equipped. Car hire from Cy Breeze was so easy and being met by Nick at the airport got our holiday off to a stress free start with the minimum of paperwork and no long queues!!!
Thank you to everyone at Sundance Villas.
Kindest regards,

Dear Irene,
I hope you are well. It was really nice to meet you when we arrived for our holiday last month. We had a great time and the villa was ideal. We had never been to Cyprus before but we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. Cyprus is a beautiful country and exceeded our expectations. The Villa was lovely and Maria was available and helpful if we needed which was reassuring. After staying in similar accommodation for the last 8 years I would like to mention the following areas which could be improved upon. We feel that the air conditioning should now be reflected in the price which would bring you in line with other operators. Secondly the metal frame sunbeds at the Villa are prone to be very hot under the Beautiful Cyprus weather.
Best Regards
Shaun.
